MEMBERSHIP AND ACTIVITIES

The YWCA (Young Women Christian Association) OF MADRAS is an International membership-based movement. The membership department is the heart of the organization.

Its emphasis is on developing responsive and qualitative services, by MEMBERS to the needs of the ever changing world.

Social Service is an important part of the Vision and Mission of YWCA, that always needs dedicated Members to support underprivileged communities and Projects run for them.

YWCA is a ‘Volunteer’ based organization. The Members are active in Community activities, social policy, campaigning, advocacy, networking in social groups, and volunteering.

YWCA is a powerful and empowering source in the lives of women who want to make a difference and uplift the downtrodden regardless of caste creed or religion.
